Working on an ESL certificate or enjoy helping other people from different cultures/countries?
Consider volunteering!
Volunteers provide one-on-one and small-group attention to students who are either struggling in their assigned class or who may need something more challenging than what the teacher can give. Volunteers help “fill in the gap” since teachers cannot always provide material that is suited to everyone’s level inside a particular class.
Volunteers usually start out volunteering 1-2 hours per week and increase from there, depending on the volunteers’ goals.
If you working towards an ESL certificate, let us know how many hours (including presenting lessons) you need, and we will help you get to where you need to be! Many of our previous volunteers who were working towards an ESL certificate are now teaching all over the world!
